The District of Columbia Perinatal Quality Collaborative (DCPQC) serves as the District’s champion for reducing maternal mortality, improving maternal and infant health outcomes, and narrowing racial and place-based disparities in maternal health.

WHAT WE DO
The District of Columbia’s Perinatal Quality Collaborative is a network of clinical teams, public health experts and other stakeholders from the community, who come together to participate in data-driven quality improvement in order to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.
- Identify and address preventable causes of maternal mortality and morbidity through the selection of quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate the Collaborative’s participation in the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM).
- Implement and evaluate programs and services designed to improve clinical quality in maternal and infant healthcare.
- Partner with and help educate providers, patients and the larger community on quality maternal and infant health care and associated outcomes.
- Foster a culture of high quality, accountable, and accessible maternal and infant clinical health services.
