New Research Shows the Benefits of a Mediterranean-Style Diet During Pregnancy, Especially for Black Women

The American Heart Association recently published a study that found that following a Mediterranean-style diet during pregnancy may lower the risk for preeclampsia. This diet has been shown to be the most beneficial for Black Women, who are at a higher risk for preeclampsia compared to their white peers.
