Pregnancy in individuals living with HIV is a reportable condition in the District of Columbia. This mandatory reporting allows DC Health to offer essential services and ensure the well-being of both the mother and the baby. DC Health aims to enhance maternal and child health outcomes across the community by monitoring and providing timely interventions. Health care providers should report cases of pregnancy in individuals living with HIV to DC Health. This can be done through the DC Health online reporting system. By collaborating and ensuring timely reporting, we can work together to provide the best possible care and support for pregnant individuals living with HIV in the District of Columbia.
